Assessment

Language and Speech recognises that the children and families we work with have a range of diverse requirements. Our assessment options reflect this.

Language and Speech offers the following options:

  • Comprehensive assessment (report included outlining results and recommendations)
  • Informal assessment (summary report included with recommendations)

Screening

If you’re not sure your child needs speech therapy Language and Speech can complete a range of screeners. From this we will prepare a summary that gives you an indication of your child’s skills and make further recommendations.

Social Skills

Language and Speech will be offering regular social skills groups commencing 2022. These groups consist of between four and six participants and are run by speech pathologists and a therapy assistant.
